🔪 STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
1. Make the Turkey Mixture
In a large bowl, combine:
Ground turkey + onion + Worcestershire + Dijon + smoked paprika + garlic powder + onion powder + thyme + oregano + salt + pepper + mayonnaise.
Mix gently—don’t overwork, or patties become dense.
If you want a firmer patty, add the breadcrumbs.
2. Form the Patties
Divide into 4 equal balls and gently shape into patties about ¾-inch thick.
Press a small indentation in the center—prevents puffing.
Refrigerate 20–30 minutes so they hold shape.
3. Cook the Patties
GRILL METHOD (closest to restaurant taste)
-
Preheat grill to medium-high (425°F / 220°C).
-
Brush patties lightly with oil.
-
Grill 5–6 minutes per side, flipping once.
-
Add cheese during the last 1–2 minutes.
Cook to 165°F / 74°C internal temperature.
SKILLET METHOD
-
Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a cast-iron skillet.
-
Cook patties 5–6 minutes per side.
-
Cover after flipping for extra moisture.
4. Toast the Buns
Brush buns with butter and toast on grill or skillet until golden.
5. Assemble
Build your burger:
Bun → lettuce → turkey patty → cheese → tomato → onion → pickles → sauce → top bun
Serve with fries, sweet potato wedges, or coleslaw.

🌟 CHEF TIPS FOR A TRULY JUICY TURKEY BURGER
1. Mayo = Moisture Insurance
Ruby Tuesday uses flavorful juicy patties, and mayo helps prevent dryness.
2. Don’t Overmix
Overworked turkey becomes tough quickly.
3. Add Shredded Zucchini for Extra Juiciness
Optional but highly effective:
Add ¼ cup finely shredded zucchini, squeezed dry.
4. Chill Before Cooking
Helps patties stay intact on the grill.
5. Sauce Matters
Great options:
-
Honey mustard
-
Chipotle mayo
-
Regular mayo + splash of Worcestershire
🍽️ VARIATIONS (Enhanced Restaurant-Quality Versions)
• Hickory Smoked Turkey Burger
Add ½ tsp liquid smoke + 1 tsp brown sugar to the mix.
• Spicy Creole Turkey Burger
Add 1 tsp Cajun seasoning + Pepper Jack cheese.
• Garden Turkey Burger
Top with avocado slices, spinach, and a lemon-herb yogurt sauce.
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon dried minced onion (optional)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup crushed cheese flavored crackers

Tried these turkey burgers tonight. They were good but way too much red peppers. They were so spicy couldn't hardly eat them. I'm thinking they meant to say 1 teaspoon not tablespoon.
